Nicktoons - Tenzin

So, folks. Now we've reached the very last playable character for Nickelodeon Brawl Stars, and how appropriate....the last character is an airbender! *insert The Last Airbender jokes here*

It was a pretty tough call putting Tenzin here. I was juggling between several characters (check the footnotes below) and even up to that crucial time, I still didn't make a decision. What clinched it for Tenzin was actually Zuko, believe it or not. I think I might have fussed about his appearance causing an imbalance in the cast, because there were now more LoA characters than there were LoK characters, and I wanted to keep them even. Now, with Tenzin included, there is now an even 4 characters per series, as well as a playable airbender.

You may have noticed that Tenzin, unlike the others, is not a Time Release character. He's an unlockable. To get him, you have to visit his Trading Post and buy every Alternate Costume using the special Tenzin Tokens you earn during normal/online gameplay (hey, his family's got to eat, after all!) Or, you could skip all that and try to buy them online. Do so, and Tenzin will be yours to play with. However, unlike the other characters, Tenzin's Alternate and Halloween costumes are -not- available through conventional means.

FOOTNOTES:

- The choices I was milling over when I was choosing the last character were Skipper, Sandy Cheeks and Tenzin. Skipper pretty much came at the last second in the decision making process, but I thought it would be a bit anti-climactic to make him the last playable character. To give it more significance, I decided it should be Tenzin, to balance the Avatar roster and make it somewhat symbolic as well (he's a mentor who has been guiding the heroes from the beginning, to become playable at the end.)

- Why Tenzin and not Aang? Well, the answer for that is - *gets kidnapped by Smurfs*
