1 Year and 50 Nicktoons later....

Hey, folks. As many of you are aware, it's been a year since I've started the Nickelodeon Brawl Stars gallery, and, first and foremost, I've got to thank you guys for the overwhelming support this gallery has gotten.

As many of you have recalled, this gallery was actually a parody of the artstyle and character reveals of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and basically asked: "What if the Nicktoons starred in a game similar to MvC3?", and, to a lesser extent, "What would be my picks to fill out the character roster?" It was also satire on the concept as well, such as:

1) Making people pay for additional DLCs, and, if we know Viacom, banking on characters with huge followings by making them DLC exclusives:


2) The surprise appearances of characters on the roster that nobody will see coming:


3) Trolling fans by teasing about characters who may or may not make the roster (which I inverted, to comment upon how easily Capcom could have included Mega Man after so much teasing):


4) Poking fun at the constant updating of a single title (with increasingly longer, silly names for each 'sequel') on standalone discs:

(I apparently can't count, by the way, it's supposed to be "15 new Challengers" for that last logo)

5) Shading the characters to look 'dramatic' to simulate how they would appear in a Marvel comic book, even if their appearances are wacky or cartoony:


6) Coming up with diverse quirks to make each character stand out from each other, so they aren't the same 'ABC Super and win!' character.



I'll post up some stats later in this journal showing how many characters each show is represented by soon.


"But wait!" you say. "Isn't there a PS3 exclusive and the final boss to reveal?"

Yep. I'm expecting people's eyes to pop out when the first one is revealed. As for the final boss, those who were following the hints probably know who it is already, but he won't be revealed until I finish a certain project that I can do now that the whole cast has been revealed (for the X-Box 360 players, at least.)

Also, a few people asked me about the Wii U. I've got plans, and you guys will be involved. How? stay tuned....
