Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Solve the Mystery!

One of the Nicktoons here has been labelled 'TOP SECRET'. This character has been reserved for this contest, and now it's up to you to deduce his/her identity! One clue is presented right here:

Succeed in deducing his/her identity before 11pm on Friday 8th February, 2013 (where that character will be revealed) and you will WIN:

1 FREE Colour Drawing of a character of your choice!
(You can add backgrounds/additional characters to this prize, but that comes with an extra fee.)

RULES:

1. You MUST reply via Private Message. My reason for this is that it's a little unfair to get the answer right, try to enter only to see somebody's beaten you to it, even though it may not be your fault that you couldn't get to a computer in time. Sending me a PM should solve this. Replies elsewhere will be considered speculation, and not official answers.

2. However, if NOBODY who has PMed me gets the correct answer but somebody who speculated has, the first to get it right will be qualified to win the prize.

As you can tell, my viewcount is getting pretty close to 90,000. About 850 away as of this writing, as a matter of fact.
All you have to do is to take a screenshot (PrtScn button on your keyboard) of when it hits 90,000, be the first to submit it, and you'll win:

1 FREE COLOUR commission, of up to two characters of your choice, with background if you so desire.
(Due to backlog of work, this may take a while to deliver!)

If nobody gets exactly 90,000, the closest to that number will win the prize.

RULES:

1. One entry per person, please. you can send it via PM, or reply to this journal. Once again, one shot, make it count!

2. You can post the screenshot here at dA, or link me to a picture posted using Imageshack, Photobucket, etc. Screenshots on websites that have viruses will be disregarded.
